The Carbon Offroad Mega Pro Winch Hook is the latest product from the design team at Carbon Offroad. Completely designed, engineered, FEA tested and finished in house by our team, we put all of our collective knowledge and experience together to build a simple, functional and cost effective winch hook which was specifically designed for winching activities.  This is not a hook that is out of the parts bin from the local lifting and rigging supplier, this hook is completely 100% made from scratch by our local design team and overseas manufacturing facility. We did the design, 3d printed the prototypes, tested form, function, fit and usage, FEA process to make the hook as strong as it could be while removing material where it wasn't required.  The I-beam hook construction is unique to the Mega Pro Hook. We cast the alloy gate to make it lightweight and durable. The hook is manufactured by a forging and heat treating process using 40cr material. This material is cost effective, easy to work with and responds well in forging and heat treatment processes. What results is an almost indestructible hook that will last a lifetime. We also then process the finish in a durable powdercoating process, similar to the process that your exterior aluminum windows in your house go through, this process is known for long term resistance to UV degradation and protection of the base material.  This hook can be stowed against the fairlead either flat on both side or on it's end, hook gate up, this gives you the ability to snap on a soft shackle or tree protector loop once handed and walk the rope out to the anchor point.  The mounting pin is a complete through pin design which is externally secured by a circlip making it simple and easy to mount to your winch rope.  We really tried hard here to make this hook to the highest standard at the best price possible so that you and you mates can access good gear for reasonable prices. We did this by committing to a proper design, development and manufacturing process that allows us to keep costs down and get product on the shelf in good quantities.  The hook is safe to use on any winch up to 20000lb.  The rubber pads on the hook are a press to fit arrangement. They have been designed to be removable so that once you have installed the hook, you can arange the logos in a fashion that suits your particular setup. Once in place you can use some rubber cement glue to permanently secure them.   This product is an Australian Registered Design under design number 202116716.  

The Carbon Offroad MegaPro Tow hitch receiver recovery point is a premium multi fit recovery point allowing 5 different mounting orientations to suit all types of 50mm reciever hitches whether they be shallow or deep style.  The recovery point is manufactured from high grade 6061 T6 Aluminium and is carefully CNC machined to a beautiful finish. The recovery point is then anodised in a high grade Type 3 Hard Anodised finish which allows years of trouble free use. At only 1.2kg it is significantly lighter than other similar options on the market. The tow hitch mount recovery point also has a smooth edged radius cut into the shackle mount, allowing safe use with a synthetic rope soft shackle attachment. It is also designed to accept a 4.25T size Steel bow shackle as well. Either attachment method is available and safe with our recovery point.  Horizontal and vertical shackle point mounting options.  One of the great features of the Carbon Offroad tow hitch mounted recovery point is that it is versatile. You can use a soft shackle or steel bow shackle with it and you can also mount it with the mounting eye facing upwards or facing sideways. Some examples of how this can help you in setting up a recovery:  With the mounting eye facing up the shackle is free to move in the lateral plane, this means that if you are in a situation where the recovering vehicle is not able to get directly in front of the vehicle being recovered, the shackle is able to bend towards the angle of pull without strain or side loading on the hitch eye.  With the mounting eye facing out sideways, the shackle is free to move in the vertical plane, if the recovery vehicle is up hill or down hill from the vehicle being recovered, this then allows the shackle to line up with the angle of pull whether it be above or below the mounting point position. The Monkey Fist Solid Recovery Ring brings a new dimension to the Carbon Offroad stable of lightweight and strong recovery items.   This solid billet 6061 T6 Aluminium Recovery Ring which is designed to be used with the Monkey Fist soft shackle will allow you to setup a double line pull with your synthetic rope electric winch.   With lasered branding not embossed, CNCed or stamped branding affecting the operation of the ring against the soft shackle, and a low friction co-efficient anodised finish, this solid recovery ring will provide years of trouble-free double line pulls. 

Sick of reaching all the way underneath your rig to unlatch the winch hook from those recovery points located way underneath your bullbar? I know we got pretty sick of it! The winch utility hook is primarily designed to bolt into the fairlead bolt hole and provide a point for the winch hook to attach to which is easy to access and most of all, looks amazing on the front of your rig. For winches where the mounting bolt for the winch uses the same hole as the fairlead mount, you could simply mount this hook off to one side or wherever will work for your setup. Depending on the thickness of the material you are going through you could space out or simply grind the bottom part of the hook mount recess to suit allowing for a tight cinch up on the mounting point The beauty of this little hook is that it can also be used for an endless number of other uses around your rig as a standard hook for hanging items in a canopy or organising items on the back of a cargo barrier. This will suit most narrow standard style hooks on the market, not the wider style that sits flat agaisnt the fairlead.     The hook is made from high quality 6061 T6 alloy and is anodised in Carbon Maroon or Carbon Black. It comes with a stainless cap head bolt, flat and spring washer with standard nut.

The Carbon Offroad Monkey Fist winch rope thimble is a great bit of kit. Stop cutting your hands up on old winch hooks with nasty spring gates, this winch thimble offers a user friendly experience when it comes to setting up a winch recovery.  Rating 10,000KG H/D 22mm Stainless Steel Pin The thimble is simply pulled into the fairlead for storage, it is perfectly sized to grab hold of with one hand, leaving the other hand free to help scramble up a hill, or connect up a shackle.  With a 6061 T6 Alloy CNC machined section of billet alloy, this is one sexy bit of gear. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Factor 55 ProLink XXL is the largest and strongest ProLink winch shackle mount in production. The ProLink XXL provides winch owners with a means to replace the conventional winch hook with a safer and stronger screw pin shackle/D-ring. FACTOR 55 FLATLINK SHACKLE WINCH RECOVERY HOOK  Eliminate the conventional winch hook and replace it with a safer and stronger FlatLink shackle thimble and D-ring. The FlatLink shackle mount is the Industry’s first folding shackle mount for recovery winches. With less than 1.75 inches of thickness, the Flatlink will work with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets. Conventional winch hooks can cut and fray recovery straps and often allow strap ends to escape during momentary slack cycles of a typical winching recovery. Screw pin shackles do not allow strap loops to escape due to the secure screw pin attachment. The FlatLink does not require splicing and is compatible with steel cables or synthetic ropes up to 3/8 inches in diameter. The cable eye is retained in the FlatLink by a 5/8 inch diameter grade 5 steel double shear pin and internal snap ring. It is installed easily in minutes. The EPDM Rubber Guards protect alloy fairleads and are securely attached to the FlatLink with 4 barbed tips.
